As an advocate for The National FFA and Pulaski FFA and being part of a farm family myself, sharing this post for the safety of all people. Farmers feed the world. Please be safe and pay attention and be patient while traveling on the road.Tractors share the road too.
There have been two serious crashes involving farm equipment in the last week reported by Shawano County Sheriff's Office and Oconto County Sheriff's Office. So here are a few reminders while you are on the roads.
🚗 Drivers: Be PATIENT. Slow down when you see tractors, only pass in a passing zone, and be mindful of farm fields and farmsteads where they may be turning.
🚜 Farmers: Make sure you have proper slow moving vehicle signs and lights visible when on the roads. Watch Wisconsin Department of Transportation requirements here: youtu.be/rwX0jYWG020
